Build your Own Tea/Coffee Brand !!!

SOP's, extensive menu, location, flashy interiors, deals & offers alone don't position a business towards growth mode. Its the operational consistency, due diligence, simplicity, cost effective value prepositions, timely order processing models, affordable tea and finally lean menu etc that actually also factors in.

⭕ There is an ongoing online debate that's going viral on tea/coffee shop business. When many startups with branding have failed to hit the baseline

revenues there is an entity(Rajasthan Tea Kadai) that's growing in leaps and bounds.


⭕ In-spite of having the best and flashy looking tea stalls, many aspiring entrepreneurs who wanted to flourish in the business of tea and coffee have

struggled to get the basics right and eventually lost momentum and got derailed off the track...

⭕ Being an avid tea drinker and visiting newer tea outlets, I recently got fascinated seeing the out-reach this group of tea stalls have sprung across

Coimbatore city all by selling only one product namely ginger tea. The 2 member staff there also make few snacks namely badusha, laddu, samosa

along with fried & salted green chilly which is very common in all their outlets.


⭕ What also intrigued me is, these tea boys after some time start their own outlets in another location and replicate the same proven strategy. Now

more than 5 dozen of these tea outlets exist within the city limits, and the number is only certain to rise in the near future given the customers approval

or their ginger tea.


This place that I visited is located in a up market locality in Coimbatore where the real-estate is considerably high and still the outlet is making healthy

profits.


➿ Why is this model gaining traction?

due diligence, simplicity, cost effective value prepositions, timely order processing models, affordable tea and finally lean menu etc that actually also

factors in.


❇️ Attention Tea Outlet Entrepreneurs:


⭕Create a lean menu rather than having a menu with funky food names and having lean sales.

⭕ Progress organically, build customer base and grow profitably - that's true businessman logic.


❇️ Verdict:

⭕ Food industry , especially the tea & coffee business is set to grow to higher levels given the market dynamics and unchanged customer preferences

of having tea/coffee on the go.

⭕ Customers are willing to encounter the no frills Tea experience - MVT/MVC (Minimum Viable Tea / Minimum Viable Coffee).


My Suggestion to Entrepreneurs to build a brand:

💡 Craft your Vision,

💡 Work religiously towards your Goals,

💡 Fine-tune the Process,

💡 Grow your Customer Base,
